Job Summary

You will manage on-site disposal operations to securely and efficiently process IT assets, ensuring compliance and meeting disposal targets within set timelines.

Responsibilities

• Remove disks and verify matching components to ensure accurate disposal of IT assets
• Reduce components and perform hard drive erasure to securely prepare equipment for disposal
• Package disposed items properly to maintain asset security and meet operational standards
• Monitor disposal process for anomalies such as processing timeouts and data discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
• Oversee compliance with legal, regulatory, and security controls throughout the disposal workflow
• Execute digital work orders accurately using system operations to support disposal tasks
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete assigned ad-hoc tasks and follow on-site management arrangements
• Maintain disposal timeliness by meeting daily targets and ensuring server scrap disposal turnaround time is under 70 days
• Ensure zero information security breaches or asset loss incidents during disposal operations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of servers and computer hardware to identify and install components
• Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Hardware, Logistics, or related fields
• Ability to work overtime occasionally based on business needs
• Demonstrate strong team spirit, diligence, responsibility, and professionalism in daily tasks
