Allkin is investing in an Innovation Squad - a dedicated, in-house team of specialists in technology, design, and product management to drive and develop solutions for high priority pain points in our client journey. This would allow us to strengthen innovative solutioning capabilities to achieve better client care outcomes and optimize organisational resource and performance management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to design, build and maintain our data infrastructure, establish data models to drive AI solution development, and provide management with accurate, actionable insights through dashboards and analytics tools. He/she should be a hands-on, self-starter who can function independently in the development of foundational data infrastructure to drive AI solution development.

Key Responsibilities

• Data infrastructure development:
  • Work with IT team and/or vendor to design and build maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources into data warehouses or lakes.
  • Optimize and maintain datasets and data infrastructure for performance, scalability, cost efficiency and alignment with AI and analytics needs.
• Data analytics enablement:
  • Work with business teams to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Build well-structured datasets that support dashboards, BI tools, and agentic AI analytics.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations in tools like Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Guide and equip staff with foundational skills in data housekeeping and governance.

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field(s) from a reputable university.
• At least 6 years of relevant work experience in data infrastructure engineering, BI and data analytics development.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases, ETL/ELT frameworks (dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, etc.), cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure etc.), and warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift etc.).
• Proficient in Python or another scripting language for data processing.
• Proficient in BI tools (Power BI and Tableau).
• Proficient in data modelling, schema design, analytics, governance, compliance and security frameworks and best practices.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting AI/ML teams in dataset and data infrastructure development and optimisation.
• Highly adaptable and comfortable working in ambiguity and early-stage product environments.
