Overview
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Customer Service Executive to join our Freight Forwarding SME. This role requires end-to-end exposure to shipment coordination, documentation, permits application, and liaison with multiple external parties. Ideal for candidates who are comfortable handling the full freight forwarding process independently.

Location: Central
Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8.45am – 6.00pm

• Saturday: 9.30am – 12.00pm (once every 3 months)

Salary: Up to $3,800

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end (A to Z) customer service and operational support for freight forwarding shipments

• Manage shipment coordination from booking to final delivery

• Prepare and process full set of shipping documents, including Airway Bills, Bills of Lading, Invoices, Packing Lists, and other trade-related documents

• Apply and manage permits and declarations (e.g. customs, import/export permits)

• Liaise closely with customers, overseas agents, shipping lines, airlines, transporters, warehouses, and government authorities

• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve operational or documentation issues

• Handle customer enquiries, follow-ups, and service recovery where required

• Maintain accurate records, reports, and shipment documentation

• Support ad-hoc operational tasks in a fast-paced SME environment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Freight Forwarding / Logistics

• Proven experience handling full A to Z shipment processes independently

• Familiar with shipping documentation, permits application, and customs procedures

• Comfortable liaising with multiple parties and working in an SME setting

• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple shipments concurrently
