Raja's Catering is one of Singapore's established Indian wedding and event caterers. We are hiring a Customer Order & Enquiry Executive to take our orders and handle every incoming enquiry — by phone, WhatsApp, email and social media. This is the first voice a customer hears. We want someone warm, organised and quick to follow up. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Answer incoming calls and WhatsApp messages about catering orders and event enquiries - Take food orders accurately — headcount, menu, dietary and halal requirements, delivery time and address — and enter them into our order system - Respond to enquiries from our website, Facebook and Instagram within the same working day - Prepare and send quotations from our standard menu and price list - Follow up on open quotations until the customer confirms or declines. Most bookings are won or lost on the follow-up. - Confirm order details with the customer before the event, and pass the final order to the kitchen and logistics team - Keep the enquiry and booking tracker up to date so nothing is missed - Handle changes and last-minute amendments calmly, and escalate problems early WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - Fluent spoken and written Tamil, and fluent English. A significant proportion of our customers place their orders and event enquiries in Tamil, and this role speaks with them directly every day — so the ability to serve customers in Tamil is a genuine requirement of the job. Malay, Mandarin or Hindi is a further plus. - Comfortable on the phone with customers, including when they are stressed about their own event - Accurate with numbers and details — a wrong headcount is an expensive mistake - Competent with WhatsApp Business, email and simple spreadsheets. We will train you on our order system. - Organised and dependable on follow-up - Prior experience in customer service, order taking, sales support, call centre, reception, retail or F&B is an advantage. No formal qualification required. - Some evening or weekend availability during peak wedding season, rostered in advance with off-in-lieu WHAT WE OFFER - S$2,400 to S$3,200 per month depending on experience - Incentive on confirmed bookings that come through your enquiries — this role can earn meaningfully above base - CPF, annual leave, medical leave and public holidays in accordance with the Employment Act - Structured handover and training; you will not be thrown in cold - Seated, indoor, air-conditioned office at 15 Woodlands Loop, near Admiralty MRT - Room to grow into a sales or account management role as we expand PART-TIME OPTION We are also open to a part-time arrangement of about 25 to 38 hours per week at an equivalent rate, for the right person.
