Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Counter Salesperson to join our watch sales team at Mustafa Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, promoting watch brands, achieving sales targets, and delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service

• Greet customers and provide professional assistance in selecting watches.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
• Demonstrate product features, functions, and benefits.
• Upsell and cross-sell related products where appropriate.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets.

Product Knowledge

• Develop and maintain strong knowledge of watch brands, models, specifications, and warranty policies.
• Stay updated on new product launches, promotions, and market trends.
• Explain watch features, movements, materials, and care instructions to customers.

Merchandising & Store Operations

• Ensure watch displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Monitor stock levels and report replenishment requirements.
• Assist with stock-taking and inventory management.
• Ensure security procedures for high-value merchandise are followed at all times.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build rapport with customers and encourage repeat purchases.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and after-sales service requests professionally.
• Assist customers with warranty claims and service-related matters.

Compliance & Administration

• Follow company policies, sales procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Maintain accurate sales records and transaction documentation.
• Ensure adherence to loss prevention and security protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE N/O Levels or equivalent.
• Previous retail sales experience preferred, ideally in watches, jewellery, fashion accessories, or luxury goods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling branded watches.
• Knowledge of quartz, automatic, and solar watch movements.
• Multilingual abilities (English plus additional languages such as Mandarin, Tamil, Hindi, Malay, or Bengali) will be an advantage.

Salary Range: SGD 2,200 – SGD 2,800 per month (depending on experience) plus incentives.
