Job Summary
An established pet relocation company specializing in importation, exportation, and transshipment services for dogs, cats, and small mammals seeks a detail-oriented coordinator to manage pet relocation schedules and ensure compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Organize and manage relocation schedules for pets including dogs, cats, and small mammals to ensure timely and smooth moves
- Advise pet owners on import/export country rules and requirements to ensure compliance with regulations
- Verify that pets meet all import and export rules before travel to avoid delays or issues
- Process importation and exportation documentation promptly to meet deadlines
- Manage timelines and plan itineraries covering ground transportation, veterinary appointments, cargo booking, quarantine arrangements, airport clearance, license applications, and payments
- Coordinate scheduling, documentation, preparation, and follow-up activities with internal teams and external agents to ensure seamless pet travel logistics
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate costing, logistics, and agent requirements for pet relocation
- Communicate politely and professionally with customers and partners via phone, email, and mail to provide clear and timely information
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and emails to maintain high service standards
Required competencies and certifications
- Proficient in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment to maintain workflow efficiency
- Ability to work independently while exercising discretion and good judgment in decision-making
- PC literate to manage documentation and communication tasks efficiently
- Positive attitude and pleasant disposition to foster a friendly and professional work environment
- Ability to handle stress and maintain performance under pressure
- Minimum “N” or “O” Level education with at least 1 year of relevant working experience
- Availability to start work immediately or within short notice
