RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with leadership to define Digital Transformation (DX) goals.
• Assess current digital maturity and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop roadmaps for implementing digital technologies, Manage of DX Committee.
• Designs and develops Functional/Detail Design Specifications for Yokogawa DCS systems on existing and new products.
• Configuration, programming and testing of software from small to large-sized DCS systems for plants, including new/changing processes.
• Support Site Installation, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), Site Commissioning and Equipment Qualification.
• Perform modification/details design specifications for Controls, HMI, 3rd Party Sub-systems integration, Foundation Field bus, Profi-bus PA/DP, Wireless devices and Test Procedures.
• Coordinate Shutdown, servicing and calibration activities for DCS and instruments.
• Prepare documentation and coordinate project work activities for the plant configuration of the new project/changing process.
• Maintain GMP documents and EHS documents for executing project/modification work, and product change campaign.
• Ensure work practices comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices, EHS requirements and local statutory codes.
• Provide training on the DCS process software to operational staff, orientation to the new staff and troubleshooting.
• Risk assessment and improve safety awareness for team members.
• Ensure design compliance with international codes and standards (e.g., IEC, ISA, API, JIS).
• Interface with process, mechanical, electrical, and safety engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of Instrumentation & Control (I&C) systems. Monitor progress, risks, and quality of I&C deliverables and coordinate with project planning and management teams.
• Experience with industrial control systems, especially Yokogawa middleware.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Chemical Process or Instrumentation & Controls Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in Yokogawa DCS System (Centum VP software) or Mitsubishi, Siemens PLC systems experience is an advantage.
• Experiences in a current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) environment.
• Ability to prepare GMP-related documents. Knowledge in Equipment Qualification based on GMP requirements.
• Experience in Computerised Maintenance Management System(CMMS).
• Hands-on experience in Yokogawa DCS System (Centum VP software) Mitsubishi, Siemens PLC systems experience is an advantage.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Solid understanding of middleware concepts and technologies used for connecting industrial and enterprise systems.
