Summary:

The Construction Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion. The role ensures that projects are delivered safely, within budget, and on schedule, maintaining the highest quality standards.

• Lead and manage construction operations on site, including manpower, subcontractors, and resources.

• Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and construction programs.

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.

• Monitor site progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions proactively.

• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and clients to resolve technical and design issues.

• Conduct regular site meetings, inspections, and reporting to senior management.

• Drive continuous improvement in construction methods, processes, and productivity.

• Mentor and manage site engineers, supervisors, and other project staff.

• Ensure proper documentation of project records, reports, and handover materials.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

• Minimum 6 years of relevant construction experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.

• Proficient in construction project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office.

• Professional registration (e.g., PEng, RICS, or equivalent) is advantageous.
