Job Summary

You will provide customer service by safely and efficiently transporting ready-mixed concrete from the batching plant to customer sites, operating truck controls to deliver concrete accurately, and maintaining the truck to ensure quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Drive the truck safely from the batching plant to customer sites to deliver ready-mixed concrete
• Operate truck levers to release concrete down the chute into wheelbarrows, other containers, or directly into the designated pouring area
• Clean the truck thoroughly after each delivery using a water hose to prevent concrete from hardening inside the mixer and on the truck
• Follow safety procedures to protect yourself and others during transportation and delivery
• Meet delivery schedules to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
• Maintain the truck in good working condition to support efficient operations and prevent delays

Required competencies and certifications

• Hold a valid Class 4 License to operate the concrete delivery truck

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Eligible for trip/cartage incentive based on delivery performance
• Ability to achieve annual bonus by meeting cartage targets
