Public Relations Officer

We are seeking an experienced Communications & Reputation Management Lead to drive the personal branding, external communications, and public opinion management of a leading global crypto exchange.

This role will be responsible for shaping and maintaining the Chief's professional public image, developing high-impact communication strategies, and proactively managing reputation risks across global media and social platforms. The successful candidate will act as a trusted communications advisor, ensuring the Chief’s messaging aligns with the company’s strategic positioning and regulatory landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Personal Brand & Communication Strategy

• Develop and execute a comprehensive personal branding and positioning strategy for the CEO aligned with the company’s global market strategy.
• Shape a professional, authoritative, and trusted executive image across industry, media, and public channels.
• Draft and edit high-quality external communication materials, including speeches, interview scripts, op-eds, public statements, talking points, and social media content (X, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Ensure consistent voice, tone, and messaging across all CEO external communications.

CEO Public Opinion Monitoring & Crisis Management

• Monitor global media and social sentiment related to the CEO on a 24/7 basis and establish a robust public opinion early-warning system.
• Assess potential reputation risks and public opinion crises, and formulate timely and effective response strategies.
• Collaborate closely with Brand, PR, and Legal teams to address public concerns and mitigate reputational risks.

External Exposure & Media Relations

• Strategically plan and manage the CEO’s external public engagements, including media interviews, industry conferences, roundtables, and keynote speeches.
• Identify and curate high-impact exposure opportunities aligned with the CEO’s personal brand positioning.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier global media across financial, technology, and crypto sectors.

Strategic Communication Advisory

• Serve as a trusted communications advisor to the CEO, providing insights on industry narratives, competitor executive dynamics, and market sentiment.
• Develop and maintain a standardized messaging library to ensure all communications comply with global regulatory requirements, corporate compliance standards, and brand guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in executive communications, reputation management, or personal brand strategy.
• Proven track record supporting C-level executives or founders, ideally within internet, fintech, or crypto companies.
• Exceptional writing, storytelling, and strategic communication skills, with the ability to translate complex industry topics into compelling narratives.
• Strong public opinion analysis and crisis communication capabilities, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Deep understanding of global social media platforms and digital communication ecosystems.
• Established media and KOL networks within financial, technology, or crypto sectors is highly preferred.
• High level of attention to detail, discretion, and confidentiality, with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, 24/7 operating environment.
