Job Description
Lead and manage all commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects from tender stage through project completion and close-out.
Prepare, review, and manage contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and commercial agreements in line with company policies.
Oversee project cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets.
Monitor project cash flow, valuations, progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
Evaluate, negotiate, and manage variations, claims, extensions of time (EOT), and dispute matters.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and Finance teams to align commercial and operational objectives.
Manage subcontractor and supplier commercial performance, including payment certifications and contractual compliance.
Identify commercial risks and opportunities and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, statutory requirements, and company procedures.
Support tendering and bidding processes, including pricing strategies, cost analysis, and contract review.
Prepare and present commercial reports to senior management, highlighting financial performance, risks, and recovery actions.
Lead negotiations with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to protect company interests.
Maintain accurate commercial documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle.
