Job Description

Job Summary

You will manage tender processes and contract administration in the marine industry, driving cost estimation, vendor coordination, and contract delivery to support project success and business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Review tender documents and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates with segregated standard cost structures
  • Develop and issue RFP/RFQ to equipment and material vendors, coordinating technical clarifications to ensure accurate pricing
  • Analyze vendor quotations to verify compliance with tender requirements and competitive pricing
  • Aggregate foreign exchange, material, and labor costs to build comprehensive cost estimates
  • Prepare detailed cost sheets for review, approval, and timely submission
  • Identify critical items and systems, conducting risk assessments to mitigate project risks
  • Coordinate and consolidate tender documents from internal teams to ensure compliance and timely, quality submissions
  • Support tender review meetings and prepare cash flow projections as needed
  • Assist in contract negotiations and procurement of equipment contracts
  • Manage equipment contracts by monitoring delivery timelines and milestone payments
  • Collaborate with shipyard teams to ensure timely and proper equipment delivery
  • Oversee contract management for awarded projects, including budget monitoring, invoice processing, and guarantee management
  • Generate post-project reports analyzing outcomes and lessons learned
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support project and company objectives

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma or Degree in a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the marine industry with expertise in cost sourcing, estimation tabulation, and offer submission
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation
  • Ability to travel internationally to Indonesia, Taiwan, and other countries for contract canvassing

  • Demonstrated commercial acumen with sensitivity to numerical data
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
