Job Summary
Drive business growth by aggressively hunting and closing new sales opportunities across local and overseas markets. Lead the full sales cycle to exceed revenue targets through strategic prospecting, consultative selling, and partnership collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business by proactively cold calling, email prospecting, leveraging referrals, and engaging in active networking to build a robust sales pipeline
- Identify and pursue high-value sales opportunities in local and international markets to expand revenue streams
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies tailored by industry and key accounts to consistently surpass sales goals
- Deliver compelling sales presentations both onsite and virtually to influence decision-makers and secure deal closures
- Lead advertising and promotional campaigns to enhance brand visibility and drive sales conversions
- Collaborate with strategic partners to design customised, revenue-driven solutions and bundled packages that align with client needs and maximise deal value
- Manage the entire sales cycle independently, from prospecting and negotiation through closing and post-sale follow-up to ensure client satisfaction and retention
- Track, analyse, and report on sales performance, pipeline status, and commissions to maintain transparency and accountability
Required competencies and certifications
- Proven ability to close sales deals and build a sales pipeline, demonstrated by a minimum of 1 year of sales experience, preferably in media, advertising, or commission-based roles
- Strong persuasion, negotiation, and presentation skills applied in client-facing sales contexts
- Proficient in English communication to effectively engage with clients and deliver presentations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) for creating proposals and reporting sales data
- Demonstrated resilience and target-driven mindset with a hunter mentality in high-pressure sales environments
- Ability to quickly assess customer needs and deliver consultative, results-oriented sales solutions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or higher qualification in any discipline
- Passion for closing deals and earning commissions, showing high motivation and drive
