 Key Responsibilities

• Discipleship Framework: Collaborate with the pastoral team to design and implement a structured discipleship framework that nurtures children from their early years into a lifelong faith.
• Curriculum & Lesson Writing: Source, adapt, or write engaging weekly lessons and curriculum materials that make biblical truths accessible and exciting for children.
• Parent Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for families, regularly communicating ministry updates, sharing resources, and partnering with parents to support family discipleship at home.
• Ministry Coordination: Oversee the smooth running of Sunday programs, special events, and camps, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and joyful environment.
• Volunteer Care: Help recruit, equip, and encourage our team of volunteers and teachers, providing them with the tools and support they need to succeed.
• Administrative Duties: Manage day-to-day administration, including basic scheduling, resource management, and budgeting.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A Passion for Children: A genuine love for working with kids and a heart for their spiritual formation.
• Creative Communication: Able to teach, engage, and build strong rapport with both children and adults.
• Teachable Spirit: A strong desire to learn, grow, and receive professional and spiritual mentorship from leadership.
• Team Orientation: A collaborative team player who communicates warmly and effectively with staff, volunteers, and parents.
• The Basics: Relevant experience working with children or foundational theological training is preferred. A shepherd's heart and a willingness to learn are our highest priorities.
• Flexibility: Ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and some evenings, with designated time off during the week.
