Core Responsibilities of a ChildFirst Principal:

• Operational Leadership: Manage daily center operations, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Curriculum & Pedagogy: Guide the implementation of an inquiry-based, holistic curriculum that fosters cognitive and emotional development,, ensuring high-quality early childhood education.
• Staff Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and foster professional growth among educators, creating a collaborative team environment.
• Parent & Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with families, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and organize community events.
• Administrative & Financial Tasks: Prepare budgets, control expenditures, and manage records and reports. 

Requirements for the Role:

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Leadership (DECCE-L).
• Skills: Strong leadership, interpersonal communication, and mentoring skills.
• Experience: Previous experience in a similar leadership role is required.
