Junior Champs Preschool provides early childhood education and care for children aged 18 months to 6 years. We deliver a bilingual, thematic curriculum with integrated programs like Phonics, Gym, and Multi-Sports across centres at Hougang Green, Kovan Heartland, and Tai Seng.

Job Summary

Deliver the centre’s bilingual integrated preschool curriculum, monitor children’s development, and create a safe, engaging learning environment while fostering strong communication with parents and supporting centre events.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the centre’s integrated Chinese Language curriculum according to termly plans to support children’s learning outcomes
• Monitor and document children’s developmental progress, providing regular updates, feedback, and preparing termly reports and portfolios
• Perform routine care duties to ensure children’s well-being and comfort throughout the day
• Create and maintain a conducive, engaging learning environment that promotes children’s curiosity and development
• Organize and actively participate in centre events to enhance community engagement and learning experiences
• Ensure children’s health, safety, and hygiene by following centre protocols and standards
• Maintain effective communication and build positive rapport with parents to support children’s learning and development

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education - Teaching (DECCE-T) (Chinese Language) with ECDA accreditation as L2 Teacher

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Proficiency in teaching preschool Chinese Language curriculum at all levels to effectively deliver bilingual education
• Passion for working with children aged 18 months to 6 years to foster a nurturing learning environment
• Ability to collaborate as a good team player with a positive and proactive attitude
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues
• Self-motivated and dedicated to achieving excellence in early childhood education
