Job Description

• Providing leadership, direction and management of Accounting, Finance and Credit & Risk department.
• Executing delegated Chief Compliance Officer duties in accordance with policies, directives and oversight provided by Tokyo HQ's Compliance Department.
• Providing strategic recommendations to the Managing Director/President and other management in Tokyo HQ.
• Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting.
• Establishing strong relationship with management of associated company and analyzing financial condition and business trend of associated company.
• Advising long-term business and financial planning including fund control and working capital.
• Providing commercial insight and leadership across the business in order to exceed business plan targets.
• Responsible for ensuring the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the Company.
• Establishing and developing good relations with senior management and external partners.
• Reviewing all formal Finance, HR and IT related procedures.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 20 years of working experience in Accounting, Financing and Credit & Risk with vast experience managing large departments.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in company-wide strategic plan management in corporate planning section preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of working experience for listed Company and in oil & gas industry.
• Experience in partnering with company executive teams, board members and shareholders.
• Experience in supporting or conducting internal compliance investigations and supervising compliance systems, policies and procedures in accordance with Tokyo HQ.
• Strong Working Capital Management, Finance Strategy, IFRS, Tax knowledge.
• Familiar with Accounting System Integration and Migration.
• Proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing of English and Japanese languages to carry out the job duties and have good communication with colleagues and related people.
