Job Summary

Support the Resident Chef in preparing meals and daily mise-en-place with precision in a busy pizzeria, ensuring food quality, hygiene, and efficient kitchen operations while collaborating effectively with the team.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Resident Chef’s directions to prepare meals accurately according to recipes, menu specifications, and quality standards
• Prepare daily mise-en-place to ensure smooth kitchen workflow
• Monitor food production to maintain compliance with recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all kitchen areas to meet hygiene requirements
• Manage kitchen stock levels and notify superiors for timely replenishment
• Minimize food wastage through careful preparation and portion control
• Assist team members with additional kitchen duties to support efficient operations
• Perform multiple kitchen tasks simultaneously to maintain day-to-day efficiency
• Adhere strictly to food hygiene, safety, and production standards
• Carry out other job-related tasks as assigned
