Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all kitchen operations for the vegetarian food stall.
• Develop and standardize recipes while maintaining consistent food quality.
• Prepare and cook a wide range of Chinese vegetarian dishes independently.
• Plan menus and introduce new seasonal dishes.
• Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff.
• Monitor food costs, inventory, and supplier purchases.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with management on operational improvements and business growth.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Chef, including leadership experience.
• Strong expertise in Chinese vegetarian cuisine and wok cooking.
• Proven experience managing a commercial kitchen independently.
• Experience in menu planning, recipe development, and food cost control.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to work weekends and public holidays.
• Food Safety certification preferred.
