Job Description
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to company recipes and standards
Plan menus and suggest new dishes or seasonal items
Ensure food is prepared in a timely and consistent manner
Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
Monitor food stock, place orders, and control wastage
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
Supervise and guide kitchen assistants and other junior staff
Manage portion control and food presentation standards
Assist in daily kitchen operations and closing procedures
