Aerospace Component Engineering Services (ACES) Pte Ltd is a joint venture between SIA Engineering Company and Parker Aerospace specializing in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of hydraulic pumps, actuators, valves and flight controls for commercial aircraft. As we enter a new phase of business growth and gearing up for new generation aircraft to support customers mainly in the Asia Pacific region, we are inviting suitable candidates to apply for the post of CERTIFYING STAFF/INSPECTOR/SENIOR TECHNICIAN/TECHNICIAN/TRAINEE TECHNICIAN as part of the Operations Team.

Job Summary

You will perform testing, disassembly, inspection, repair, and assembly of state-of-the-art hydro-mechanical aircraft components to ensure their reliability and safety. You will work independently and collaboratively to maintain high-quality standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Test hydro-mechanical aircraft components to verify functionality and safety before release
• Disassemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components carefully for inspection and repair
• Inspect components using technical manuals, drawings, and schematics to identify defects or wear
• Repair and assemble aircraft components following maintenance manuals and technical orders
• Interpret electrical wiring schematics, hydraulic system schematics, and single-line diagrams to support troubleshooting and repair
• Read, write, and understand English to document work and communicate effectively
• Apply workplace safety and health practices consistently to maintain a safe work environment
• Contribute to 6S workplace organization and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
• Use MS-Office applications on Windows platform to prepare simple reports and documentation

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Practical experience in disassembly, inspection, repair, assembly, and acceptance testing of mechanical and electro-mechanical components
• Personnel who have passed Air Legislation CAAS/EASA papers (L12, L11, M10, M09) and hold ratings such as C7, C8, C12, and C14
• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Certificate / Diploma in Aerospace, Mechanical or Mechatronics or relevant engineering discipline from a recognized institution
• Minimum 3 GCE “O” / “N” / “A” Level passes
