Job Responsibilities

• Support the purchasing team in day-to-day operations including accurate creation and issuance of Purchase Orders (POs)
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating effectively on pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines
• Coordinate incoming material shipments, manage Return to Vendor (RTV) processes, and handle administrative tasks such as record keeping and RFQ preparation for costing roll-ups
• Process purchase requisitions and provide timely updates to management on order status
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to ensure adequate supply
• Arrange transportation of goods and track orders to ensure on-time delivery
• Analyse market trends and monitor the target market to support informed and strategic purchasing decisions
• Collaborate with the Expeditor team on vendor delivery follow-ups and submission of required supporting documents
• Maintain proper documentation, filing, and record keeping for all procurement activities
• Undertake any additional ad-hoc duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in a purchasing or procurement role
• Knowledge of ERP systems will be an added advantage
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
