Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead business development activities within the upstream Oil & Gas and offshore project market. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategic sales initiatives, developing key customer relationships, and supporting project pursuits across major capital projects.
This role requires strong engagement with customers, project stakeholders, and internal teams to support long-term business growth and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for targeted projects and key accounts
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the upstream Oil & Gas and offshore market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, EPC contractors, shipyards, OEMs, and project stakeholders
- Engage customers throughout various project stages including specification, tendering, and project execution
- Promote company products, solutions, and services to support customer requirements
- Manage project sales pipelines, forecasting, and opportunity tracking
- Prepare and deliver commercial presentations and business proposals
- Coordinate closely with internal teams including engineering, operations, customer service, and management
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
- Support strategic account development and long-term business growth initiatives
- Guide and support team members to ensure effective sales execution and customer engagement
- Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and business development activities as required
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of sales or business development experience within industrial, engineering, Oil & Gas, offshore, or related industries
- Experience managing project-based sales and customer relationships
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively
- Proactive, customer-focused, and results-driven mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to upstream Oil & Gas, offshore, EPC, shipyard, or industrial project environments
- Familiarity with technical or engineering-related products and solutions
- Experience handling strategic accounts and large-scale projects
