Our client is a trusted construction material supplier with more than 20 years of experience. They are expanding their portfolio and is looking for a commercially astute Business Development Manager to spearhead the rollout and growth of their building system solutions. This is a key role responsible for building market presence, securing specifications, and positioning the company as a trusted partner in the construction ecosystem.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Champion the commercial success of building systems from market entry to sustained growth
• Formulate and implement market penetration and sales strategies for new product lines
• Establish and deepen relationships with developers, consultants, main contractors, and fabricators
• Drive early-stage engagement and specification with architects, engineers, and quantity surveyors
• Manage strategic accounts while identifying new business and project opportunities
• Collaborate closely with internal technical, production, and operations teams to ensure project alignment
• Develop pricing frameworks, sales forecasts, and market insights to support business planning
• Deliver product briefings, technical presentations, and customer training sessions
• Monitor industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging market needs

Requirements

• 5–8 years of proven B2B sales experience within the construction or building materials sector
• Prior exposure to roofing and floor systems is highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of project-based sales cycles and tender processes
• Demonstrated success in account management and revenue growth
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation and presentation capabilities
• Highly motivated, independent, and results-driven
• In-depth knowledge of the Singapore construction landscape

Location: North
Salary: $5000 - $6000 (basic) + comms + aws + transport allowance
