We are looking for a Singapore-based sales and business development person to raise capital for our alternative investment fund product. He or she will generate prospective client leads for the firm, and is expected to work closely with the investment team. Ideal candidate should have a strong network of investor contacts (preferably high net worth investors, family offices, corporates), is highly motivated and have a hunter mindset.

Responsibilities include, but is not limited to the following:

• Raise capital for the firm’s alternative investment fund products.
• Generate client leads for the investment team to pitch to.
• Market to existing network of clients, and continuously source for new client prospects.
• Assist on client onboarding.
• Attend to / work together with the team on client requests.
• Provide client feedback and market intelligence to the team.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of fund sales, business development, relationship management and/or investor relations experience.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Finance and Economics or related fields
• Have a strong network of investor contacts (preferably high net worth investors, family offices, corporates).
• Have a proven track record in raising assets.
• Driven, with a can-do and positive mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional fluency in English and Mandarin in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Able to work independently, but also a team player.
• Business travel is expected.
