The Business Development Manager Trainee will undergo hands-on learning to understand how a restaurant grows through marketing, customer engagement, and partnership development. The trainee will observe and support basic business development activities while being guided closely by the Director, without taking on KPI-driven responsibilities or leading critical operations.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Assist in gathering basic market information related to Japanese dining trends, customer preferences, and competitor offerings.

2. Support in preparing simple reports, presentations, and proposals for potential partnerships or promotions.

3. Observe and assist in coordinating small-scale marketing activities such as social media posting, menu highlights, or customer engagement initiatives.

4. Help maintain a database of customer feedback and potential corporate clients for reference and follow-up by senior staff.

5. Accompany senior managers during meetings with suppliers, partners, or collaborators to learn communication and negotiation basics.

6. Assist in monitoring daily restaurant activities to understand customer flow, product popularity, and overall dining experience.

7. Support basic administrative tasks related to business development such as scheduling appointments, organizing documents, and updating contact lists.

Technical Skills and Competencies:
