Business Development Executive(Recruitment Services)

Own the Full Revenue Lifecycle — From First Contact to Long-Term Growth
This is a high-performance commercial role combining new client acquisition and account growth within the recruitment industry. You will be responsible for winning new corporate clients, closing deals, and growing those accounts into long-term recruitment partnerships through repeat hiring and upselling. This is a full revenue ownership role, not just sales or account servicing. Internal recruitment consultants will manage candidate sourcing and delivery after client onboarding, allowing you to focus on client acquisition, deal closing, and account expansion.
What You Will Own
New Business Acquisition (Core Focus)
- Identify and win new corporate clients through cold outreach (calls, LinkedIn, email, referrals, networking)
- Build and develop your own pipeline from zero
- Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and closing
- Drive consistent new business opportunities across assigned markets
Account Growth & Expansion
- Manage and grow newly acquired clients post-sale
- Drive repeat hiring and long-term recruitment partnerships
- Identify upselling opportunities within existing accounts
- Develop accounts into recurring revenue relationships over time
Revenue Ownership & Performance
- Own both new business revenue and account expansion revenue
- Maintain disciplined CRM pipeline management and forecasting
- Track conversion rates, deal velocity, and account performance
- Deliver consistent monthly revenue contribution
What Success Looks Like (Reality of the Role)
- High outbound activity (daily cold outreach via calls, LinkedIn, email, etc.)
- Strong self-driven pipeline building and follow-up discipline
- Consistent deal progression from outreach to closure
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain momentum in a fast-paced environment
- A ramp-up period is expected as you build your pipeline and client base
Compensation & Earning Potential
This is a performance-based role with uncapped commission, designed for individuals who want full control over their earning potential.
- Compensation structure: 100% performance-based
- Commission: Uncapped, directly tied to revenue generated from new business and account growth
- Earning potential: Fully scalable based on performance, pipeline strength, and deal closure consistency
High performers can build strong recurring monthly income through repeat client accounts and long-term recruitment partnerships.
Who Will Succeed Here
We are looking for commercially driven individuals who think in revenue.
- Proven sales or business development experience (recruitment experience preferred but not essential)
- Strong ability to open doors and close deals independently
- Comfortable with cold outreach, rejection, and high-activity sales environments
- Strong relationship builder with long-term account mindset
- Self-driven, disciplined, and able to work independently in a remote setup
- Able to balance new business acquisition and account growth simultaneously
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline (business/sales preferred)
- Certificate of Employment Intermediaries (CEI) or willingness to obtain it
Market Focus
You will engage with SMEs and mid-to-large corporate clients across multiple industries, focusing on companies with active and recurring hiring needs.
