Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team to achieve business and service KPIs.
• Drive business development initiatives to grow general insurance portfolio and achieve premium targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with agents, brokers, and corporate clients to support client retention and acquisition.
• Manage underwriting activities for commercial and industrial risks within delegated authority and company guidelines.
• Prepare competitive quotations, review renewals, and recommend appropriate premium and policy adjustments.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery and regulatory compliance.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and support to team members to enhance performance and productivity.
• Coordinate risk surveys and support risk assessment activities when required.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in general insurance, underwriting, or business development.
• Possess Certificate in General Insurance (CGI).
• Experience in team leadership or supervisory role would be an added advantage
• Strong business development, client relationship management, and underwriting knowledge.
