Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, deadline-driven Construction Supervisor to lead construction crews, ensure project quality, safety compliance, and budget adherence while coordinating with stakeholders and supporting recruitment and training efforts.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction teams to deliver quality work within strict deadlines by fostering collaboration and clear communication
• Monitor construction processes and conduct training and team-building sessions to enhance crew performance
• Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations on all construction sites
• Perform regular inspections of equipment, materials, and construction sites to ensure standards are met
• Schedule and coordinate meetings with vendors, site inspectors, managers, and staff to align project goals
• Prepare and present detailed reports, budgets, and project plans to relevant stakeholders for informed decision-making
• Collaborate closely with architects and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met
• Stay current with safety codes and construction industry advancements to maintain best practices
• Assist in recruiting and training new staff to build a skilled and compliant workforce
• Manage project paperwork and travel to multiple sites as required to oversee operations

Required competencies and certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in the construction industry
• Valid driver's license
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain focus and composure under pressure
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, business, management, or engineering
• Experience in a leadership role
