Chengzhu Mandarin Centre is looking for a warm, organized, and patient Bookroom Assistant to join our morning team. In this role, you will manage ourchild-centric library, helping young learners explore, borrow, and enjoy ourcollection of Mandarin children's books.

Responsibilities

• Welcome children, parents, and teachers into the bookroom with a warm and positive attitude.
• Assist young children in selecting age-appropriate Mandarin storybooks based on their interests and reading levels.
• Manage the check-in and check-out borrowing process and handle returns using our library system.
• Shelve returned books promptly and keep the bookroom clean, tidy, and safe for young readers.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level qualification (or equivalent).
• Must be able to converse fluently in Mandarin to guide children with book selections and communicate with parents and staff.
• A patient, encouraging, and child-friendly personality with good organizational skills.
• Comfortable using basic computer tools for book scanning and checkout systems.

工作职责

·      以热情友善的态度欢迎小朋友、家长及教师进入图书室。

·      协助小朋友挑选适合其年龄、兴趣及阅读水平的华文绘本与故事书。

·      使用图书管理系统处理图书的借还登记手续。

·      及时将归还的图书归位整理，保持图书室整洁、安全及环境舒适。

岗位要求

·      至少具备 新加坡剑桥 O 水准 (GCE 'O' Level) 或同等学历。

·      必须具备良好的华语口语交流能力，以便引导小朋友选书并与家长及员工沟。

·      耐心、有亲和力、喜欢小朋友，并具备良好的组织条理性。

·      能够熟练使用基础电脑系统进行扫描及借还书登记。
