Key responsibilities

• Develop, update, and manage federated BIM models (Architectural, Structural, MEP) using Autodesk Revit or equivalent BIM software in accordance with the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP).

• Produce accurate 2D shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction drawings using AutoCAD in line with project specifications and international/local standards.

• Conduct clash detection and coordination reviews using Navisworks or similar tools; report and resolve interdisciplinary clashes in coordination with discipline leads.

• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants to capture and reflect design revisions, RFIs, and site instructions into BIM models and drawings.

• Maintain and update the Common Data Environment (CDE) — ensuring correct file naming, versioning, and document control practices are followed.

• Prepare quantity take-off data and material schedules extracted from BIM models to support procurement and cost control teams.

• Assist in the preparation of BIM deliverables for project milestones, client submissions, and authority approvals.

• Support the site team with model-based visualisations, 4D scheduling overlays, and mark-up coordination drawings as required.

• Ensure all BIM outputs comply with applicable standards (e.g. BCA BIM e-Submission, ISO 19650, or project-specific requirements).

• Participate in BIM coordination meetings, design reviews, and clash resolution workshops on-site and with the project team.

Requirements — qualifications & experience

• Diploma or Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or a related built environment discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on BIM modelling and CAD drafting experience in building or civil construction projects.

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (mandatory) and AutoCAD (mandatory); experience with Navisworks Manage for clash detection is required.

• Familiarity with BIM standards and workflows, including BIM Execution Plans, LOD requirements, and model coordination processes.

• Experience working in a main contractor or subcontractor environment on-site is an advantage.

• Knowledge of Singapore's BCA BIM e-Submission requirements is preferred (or equivalent authority submission process relevant to the project location).

• Strong spatial awareness and ability to interpret and cross-reference architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to drawing accuracy and quality control.

• Good communication and coordination skills — able to liaise effectively with multi-disciplinary teams on-site.

• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple deliverables under tight construction timelines.

• Familiarity with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), ProjectWise, or equivalent CDE platforms is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and buildability is highly valued.
