Job Description

• Implement and enforce BIM policies, standards and strategies within the team
• Manage and coordinate BIM usage across all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Development and implementation of Building Information Management (BIM) systems
• Develop, enhance and maintain current and new BIM/VDC standards & methodology
• Lead and/or assist in the creation of BIM deliverables including BIM Execution Plans, Clash Detection Reports, BIM Quality Control Plans, BIM Design Review Procedures, Construction Sequencing (4D) and Cost Estimating (5D)
• Ensure BIM Execution Plan are duly developed, maintain and adhere to for the team
• Strong hands-on skill on BIM applications
• Lead in BIM/VDC education & training programs for the unit and the organisation
• Stay updated with industry technology trends and propose strategies for consideration to management
• Foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the department.

Job Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services, Architectural or Structural Engineering Construction Management
• Minimum 8 years of experience of working experience in construction, design, drafting and/or coordination (services)
• Formal BIM training (Specialist Diploma or BCAA or equivalent Modelling Training certification)
• At least five (5) years of engineering experience in construction, design, drafting or coordination (services)
• At least five (5) years of experience in BIM coordination and / or BIM management and modelling experience in a design, engineering or construction firm for a large project (part-time)
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Bentley Microstation,Rhino, sketchup,
• Experience with visualization and simulation software software such as Fuzor, Lumion, Adobe CC, etc
• Experience in bridge or infrastructure will be an advantage.
