💡 Note: This is a regular Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm position. No shift work required. The team only rotates standby duty monthly, and you only handle urgent matters if anything arises.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Network Operations Engineer to support the daily network and infrastructure operations of a leading financial institution. You will play a key role in ensuring network stability, security, and performance, while gaining exposure to enterprise-grade banking systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for daily IT operations, network maintenance, and infrastructure management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network or system issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure service continuity.
• Manage and configure user accounts, permissions, and access controls to maintain system integrity and security.
• Monitor and support network operations, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, and VPN configurations.
• Participate in a monthly standby rotation (no shift work). Only respond when urgent matters arise during your standby month.
• Support IT audit activities by providing technical inputs and addressing identified gaps.
• Assist with ad hoc technical tasks and projects as assigned by the Department Head.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals with hands-on operational experience.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Experience in a banking or financial institution is an advantage.
• A strong problem-solver who learns quickly and can work both independently and in a team environment.
