Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Credit & Loan Sales Associate to join our retail banking team. You will be responsible for promoting and cross-selling a suite of unsecured credit products such as personal loans, credit lines, and credit cards to customers through various channels. This role involves proactive outreach, needs-based selling, and ensuring compliance with the bank’s regulatory and service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Acquire new customers and generate sales for personal loan and credit card products through direct sales, telesales, roadshows, or digital platforms
• Conduct needs-based financial assessments to recommend suitable loan solutions to customers
• Explain product features, loan terms, and repayment schedules clearly and professionally
• Support customers in the application process, including submission of documentation and credit evaluation
• Meet monthly individual and team sales targets
• Maintain a high level of customer service and relationship management
• Ensure compliance with MAS regulations, internal policies, and fair lending practices
• Participate in promotional activities and marketing campaigns organized by the bank

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE ‘A’ Level, Diploma, or Degree in any discipline
• Prior experience in sales, preferably in banking, insurance, or financial services is an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Sales-driven with strong motivation to achieve performance targets
• Ability to handle rejection and maintain resilience
• Bilingual in English and a second language is advantageous (to liaise with a diverse customer base)
• CMFAS certifications (e.g., M5, M9, M9A) will be a plus, but not mandatory for unsecured lending products
