• Join a finance operations team supporting transaction processing, financial data governance, compliance, and process improvement while working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy, control, along operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Finance Operations Support

• Provide daily finance operations support to faculties and units, including maintenance of financial master data and processing of budget-related adjustments.

• Act as a key contact point for operational finance queries and issue resolution.

• Support adherence to agreed service standards for finance operations activities.

Governance, Controls and Compliance

• Support regular financial housekeeping activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

• Assist in reviewing financial master data to ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting requirements.

• Contribute to control and compliance reviews, including assessment of internal control documentation and processes.

• Support adherence to finance policies, procedures, and audit requirements.

Stakeholder Support and Advisory

• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on finance processes and transactional matters.

• Work closely with finance teams and operational units to support governance and accountability.

• Support consistent application of finance policies across units.

Process Improvement

• Identify recurring operational issues and process gaps and support remediation efforts.

• Participate in initiatives to improve efficiency, standardisation, and control effectiveness within finance operations.

General Support

• Support additional tasks and initiatives as assigned to meet team and organisational needs.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related discipline from a recognised institution.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in finance operations, audit, controllership or related functions.

• Good understanding of financial processes, internal controls, and governance principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data handling or reconciliation work.

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

• Meticulous, responsible, and able to manage multiple priorities.

• Comfortable working independently and in a team environment.

• Experience in education or public sector environments will be an advantage.
