Our client is an established company specializing in Biomedical and Manufacturing. They are expanding and growing at a fast pace and now looking to hire an Assistant Microbiologist to support the growth. They are located in the West – easily accessible.

The Responsibilities of Microbiologist are:

• Execute microbiological tests following established SOPs, aligned with relevant standards and regulatory mandates.
• Provide supervision to QC Technicians, guiding them through microbiological testing processes.
• Maintain a ready supply of lab materials to facilitate uninterrupted testing.
• Lead laboratory investigations for out-of-specification results and environmental monitoring findings. Collaborate with process owners to determine root causes and implement corrective/preventive measures.
• Ensure proper validation of equipment and testing methods to sustain accuracy.
• Offer support in aseptic processes and validation activities associated with sterilization.
• Update SOPs to align with evolving standards and regulatory requisites.
• Facilitate external audits by certification bodies and regulatory inspections.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Life Science, Microbiology or related field
• At least 1 - 3 years relevant experience in Micro Lab; Entry level is welcome as training will be provided
• Able to start work immediately or within short notice is highly preferred
