Job Description
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the front-of-house, ensuring a smooth and efficient service
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables
- Manage reservations and optimize seating arrangements to maximize guest satisfaction and restaurant capacity
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service
- Supervise and support front-of-house staff, including hosts/hostesses, waitstaff, and bartenders
- Train and mentor front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and professional work environment
- Address and resolve any guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Monitor inventory levels of front-of-house supplies and coordinate with management for replenishment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with special events and private dining arrangements as needed
- Handles all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily
- Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships
- Establishes a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationships
- Personally and frequently verifies that guests are receiving the best possible service

Requirements
- Proven experience as a assistant manager in a similar leadership role in the hospitality industry
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Proficient in reservation management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software
- Impeccable grooming and professional appearance
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality management or related field is a plus
