Develops or reviews nursing care plans, individualized nursing assessments, individualized and group programming for patients to ensure appropriate care is given to patients undergoing various treatments, therapies or medication
Oversee the goals and objectives of the residential nursing care
Provides leadership and oversee the planning, development, coordination and evaluation of nursing services
Compliance to all nursing standards as stipulated by Ministry of Health and Singapore Nursing Board
Operate and monitors smooth transition of residents from acute to chronic care and back to community where possible
Development and implementation of continuing education programs by determining needs, developing in-service workshops, scheduling and notifying staff of mandatory training to ensure adequately trained staff
Prepare short to long-term plans, eg annual and 5-yearly to accomodate trends in nursing care
Preparation for MOH audit
