Job Description

Our client, a big player in the Integrated Facilities Management and environmental services industry is looking for a Assistant Director, Business Development & Strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive business development and strategic planning processes
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders (e.g. ES & FM) for short term & long term business plans.
  • Observe market conditions and the external environment.
  • Establish strategic priorities and workflow for the annual work plan
  • Review and approve key activities and processes.
  • Identify organisation gaps and recommend strategic improvements.
  • Stay updated on local and regional industry developments, trends, and best practices to strengthen organisational positioning.
  • Collaborate with industry partners, technology vendors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to drive innovation and sustainability.
  • Spearhead strategic projects and foster collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful execution.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities, and propose actionable strategies to address them.
  • Oversee implementation approaches and monitor progress against key milestones and performance indicators.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to internal stakeholders to build capability within the Business Development & Strategy function.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Support pre- and post-M&A activities, including due diligence and integration.
  • Lead relationship-building efforts with stakeholders in emerging markets.
  • Support and promote QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health & Safety) and BCM (Business Continuity Management) initiatives to foster a strong safety culture.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Good relevant experience in similar industry
  • Leadership experience
