We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Design Engineer (Civil & Structural) to support the Design Manager in overseeing design coordination, architectural / C&S supervision, and compliance across major infrastructure and building projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

• Assist the Design Manager in supervising architectural and C7s work to ensure compliance with design standards, safety requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Plan, manage, and monitor the progress and scheduling of C&S work.
• Manage drawing submission schedules in accordance with project timelines and construction progress.
• Coordinates and reviews all design matters with LTA, authorities, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Oversee and control design deliverables, including BIM models, technical documentation, contractual submissions, and cost-related design matters.
• Review subcontractors' shop drawings to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project specifications.
• Support design-related problem-solving and provide technical guidance to project teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in construction supervision of architectural or C&S works.
• Experience with LTA or major building/infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Prior experience in a construction or engineering company is preferred.
• Strong understanding of civil and structural details, design coordination, and regulatory requirements.
• Good communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
