Job Summary

The Assembly Technician installs mechanical or electrical components on production platforms, follows process instructions, updates work records, and supports ad hoc issues to ensure smooth plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Install mechanical or electrical components on production platforms following detailed process instructions to ensure assembly accuracy
• Update records and checklists promptly after completing installation tasks to maintain accurate documentation
• Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively to perform installation and maintenance tasks
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain 5S workplace organization standards after completing tasks to support operational efficiency
• Communicate clearly in simple English to understand and execute instructions accurately
• Collaborate with team members to resolve ad hoc issues that arise during production
• Manage workload independently and work under pressure to complete assigned tasks on time
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and contribute as a reliable team player
• Maintain physical fitness to perform manual assembly and installation tasks safely

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Possess a Class 3 Driving Licence and Forklift Licence to support operational flexibility and equipment handling
