Assistant Shipping Supervisor(Woodlands) UP to 2.8k

Requirements

*MS Excel / SAP / Outlook emails

*  Good communication& coordination skills

*Familiar with incoterms and basic customs procedures

*Able to commit to Overtime

Working Hours:

*Normal Day shift (8.00am - 5.30pm)(Able to commit OT if required)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily shipping operations, including updating shipment records and supporting logistics processes
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers for shipment scheduling and execution
• Handle import and export documentation (e.g. delivery orders, bills of lading, invoices, arrival notices) to ensure timely delivery
• Liaise with carriers and freight forwarders for outbound shipments
• Arrange and monitor courier shipments (e.g. FedEx, DHL), including booking, tracking, and follow-ups
• Prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, and other shipping documents, including SAP-generated documents and LC requirements
• Support end-of-quarter (EOQ) shipment coordination to meet delivery and billing deadlines
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, customs regulations, and safety standards
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes
• Investigate shipment issues (e.g. delays, discrepancies, complaints) and implement corrective actions
• Act as backup for the Shipping Supervisor when required
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality
• Plan and allocate manpower resources to support daily shippingoperations and peak periods (including EOQ), ensuring timely and efficientshipment execution.
• Assign tasks and coordinate workschedules for shipping staff to optimize productivity and minimize overtime.
• Ensure effective use andavailability of operational resources, including equipment, systems, andpacking materials.
• Identify and escalate manpower or resource constraints and providesupervisory coverage during the Shipping Supervisor’s absence.
