Roles & Responsibilities

• Attend daily subcontractor meetings to resolve structural and architectural issues and ensure project schedules are met.
• Monitor site progress and safety compliance of subcontractors, reporting findings to immediate superiors and safety officers.
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings and specifications, and initiate corrective actions for any non-conformance.
• Conduct daily inspections with the Project RE/RTO and follow up on comments to secure approvals for work commencement.
• Maintain proper inspection records for future reference and as legal documentation in the event of defects or disputes.
• Demonstrate confidence when dealing with workers, subcontractors, and colleagues, and seek guidance from senior staff when necessary while promoting mutual respect.
• Strive for timely and efficient approvals through proactive site management and adherence to BCA best practices.
• Support Environmental Health and Safety programmes led by the PM and WSHO to maintain a safe and clean worksite.
• Continuously upgrade skills through BCA or equivalent training programmes and contribute feasible cost-saving initiatives.
• Accept additional responsibilities that support team objectives and project cost efficiency.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to newly appointed site supervisors to ensure smooth integration and uninterrupted progress.
• Be flexible with working hours, including late-night shifts when required to fulfil project needs.
