Responsibilities

• Check and coordinate shop drawings produced by the drafting team and subcontractors
• Attend technical meetings with consultants and other relevant parties
• Monitor and follow up on the approval of shop drawings from consultants
• Liaise with subcontractors on technical issues to ensure timely approval of shop drawings
• Monitor site progress in relation to the shop drawing schedule
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and to verify critical dimensions indicated in the drawings
• Ensure that proposed details and materials comply with contract provisions and specifications
• Resolve site problems on detailing
• Track and control construction schedules to ensure project completion within allocated time and budget
• Review project specifications, technical clarifications and construction drawings
• Identify and highlight site problems caused by constraints or technical discrepancies to consultants

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Building
• Minimum 10 years of working experience on construction projects
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
• Good technical detailing, specification knowledge and aesthetic sensibilities
• Knowledge of local building regulations, submission processes, and tender drawing preparation
