• Conduct site inspections to ensure work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Liaise and coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors on projects and work to alleviate conflicts, disputes and abortive work
• Coordinate with M&E and structural site teams to resolve clashes and ensure integration of all building services.
• Review architectural drawings and ensure proper execution on-site. Attend site meetings and conduct inspections to ensure work quality and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams regarding architectural detailing and material specifications.
• Assist in handling architectural change requests or site instructions.
• Prepare any necessary construction method statement and technical proposal to ensure smooth transition of works
• Ensure safety, environmental, and quality standards are met.
• Monitor progress of architectural works and prepare reports on work status. Report progress, delays, or issues to the project manager and propose solutions.

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in architecture or its equivalent
• Minimum 4-5 years' experience, preferably with CONQUAS/QM experience in projects with a contract value minimum of $100 million
• Awareness of requirements of relevant authorities (i.e., BCA, SCDF, LTA)
• Ability to interpret construction drawings for any discrepancies
• Problem-solving ability to resolve on-site technical issues.
• Good team player, able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Willing to work onsite full-time.
• Experience in major A/A works, underpinning works and conservation projects will be an advantage.
