Job Description
Responsibilities: As an Application Support Engineer, you will be responsible for acting as a software detective, providing a dynamic service by identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.
You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
Providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams is a vital part of this role.
Expert proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS is required.
Advanced proficiency in ServiceNow Field Service Management is suggested.
- Analyze complex software issues and develop effective solutions to maintain system stability and performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support of business-critical applications.
- Lead efforts to document troubleshooting processes and share knowledge to enhance team capabilities.
- Proactively identify potential system risks and recommend improvements to prevent future disruptions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating new tools and technologies relevant to application support.
