Job Summary

Join Eatons as an Aluminium Designer Drafter to design and draft aluminium and glass solutions, manage fabrication operations, and coordinate project schedules to deliver high-quality customer solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design aluminium and glass solutions for windows, doors, and related products to meet customer specifications
• Create detailed cutting lists and Bill of Materials (BOM) to support accurate fabrication and material procurement
• Draft precise shop drawings using AutoCAD to guide manufacturing and installation
• Generate purchase orders for required materials to ensure timely supply chain management
• Attend site meetings or visits to assess project requirements and provide technical support
• Manage daily rostering and scheduling of work teams to optimize operational efficiency
• Oversee fabrication processes and coordinate project activities to ensure quality and timely delivery
• Conduct daily team briefings and toolbox meetings to communicate goals, safety, and progress
• Support work teams by addressing operational challenges and facilitating workflow
• Supervise stock monitoring and material ordering to maintain adequate inventory levels
• Perform ad-hoc operational duties to support overall business functions
