Bunkerchain is expanding its AI and automation capabilities to support the next phase of digitally coordinated maritime operations.
This role focuses on building intelligent automation, system orchestration, and data-driven decision support across interconnected operational workflows.

The successful candidate will join an existing product and engineering team, contributing to the continuous evolution of Bunkerchain’s automation layer that supports scheduling, coordination, and secure digital processes at scale.

Key Focus Areas

Intelligent Automation

• Design and implement automation logic across multi-party operational workflows
• Support event-driven processes that reduce manual intervention and improve reliability
• Contribute to rule-based and AI-assisted decision frameworks

Scheduling & Process Orchestration

• Develop automation to support time-sensitive coordination and scheduling workflows
• Assist in optimizing resource utilisation through data-driven logic
• Enhance system responsiveness to operational changes and exceptions

AI-Driven Insights

• Apply machine learning and analytical techniques to identify patterns, risks, and optimisation opportunities
• Support predictive and recommendation-based system capabilities
• Work with structured operational datasets and system-generated events

Platform & Integration

• Contribute to the automation layer across Bunkerchain’s digital platforms
• Support API-based integrations and system-to-system communication
• Assist in building scalable, modular components that can be deployed across environments

Operational Visibility & Controls

• Support real-time monitoring, alerting, and system observability
• Assist in defining metrics and indicators for performance and compliance
• Contribute to audit-friendly and verifiable automation designs

Candidate Profile

• Degree in AI, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related disciplines
• Strong foundation in programming, data handling, and logical system design
• Comfortable working in production environments with real operational constraints
• Interested in building systems that require trust, reliability, and verifiability
