Job Summary

Manage and independently close full sets of accounts while ensuring accurate vendor invoice verification, bank reconciliation, and document management for multiple accounts using sound accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Independently close full sets of accounts applying reasonable accounting principles to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Verify vendor invoices and perform data entry to maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Reconcile bank statements to identify and resolve discrepancies for accurate cash flow management
• Upload and manage documents related to accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to support audit readiness
• Manage and maintain accounting records for two separate sets of accounts to ensure compliance and accuracy

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Recognised Degree or Diploma in accountancy/ ACCA
• Proficiency in Moneyworks accounting software to enhance accounting process efficiency
• 4-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role demonstrating ability to handle full sets of accounts
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
