We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Payable (AP) Executive to support the finance team in managing the accounts payable function. The successful candidate will ensure timely invoice processing, accurate payment preparation, and proper documentation in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Process vendor invoices and staff claims accurately and in a timely manner (including enter in Xero system)
• Verify invoices against supporting documents and ensure proper approvals are obtained
• Prepare payment runs (GIRO, bank transfers, and cheques) and maintain payment schedules
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding items or discrepancies
• Maintain proper filing and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
• Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and AP & Bank reconciliations
• Liaise with internal departments and vendors on payment-related matters
• Prepare and submission of GST returns
• Review outstanding item i.e. aged payables
• Forecast payments and update cash flow reports
• Prepare the balance sheets reconciliations
• Support process improvements and other finance-related administrative tasks when required

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant Accounts Payable experience (multi-entity environment preferred)
• Must be have familiar with Xero accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail with good organisational and time-management skills
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills
